"Corvo's Mentor" - Dishonored 2 Fan Design

At only 16 Corvo won the Blade Verbena in his home city of Karnaca, granting him entrance into the Grand Serkonan Guard. But where did the legendary Royal Protector of Dunwall learn his skills?
I tried to answer that question in my concept design. I figured his mentor would need to have taught him not only his sword skills until the age of 16 but the meaning of honor to tie it in to the theme of the games and to set the boy from the streets on the right path.
I came up with this character Laraine who used to be a pirate but ended up finding the meaning of honor for herself, leaving her pirate days behind her and joining the Grand Sarkonan Guard. Like a lot of the sailors in the series and most of the major characters she has ties to the Outsider and wears a bone charm and whale bone tokens.
